I’m an author with books about suspense and adventure. 200,000 copies of my books have been sold so far. My first novel Operation Red Fox was published in fall of 2020. The plot quickly swooped me with it, and the modern-day war story expanded into a series: Operation Desert Fox came out in 2022, and the continuation Operation Arctic Fox and series final Operation Firefox were published in 2023-2024. The first book of a thriller series about Antto Havu and Sandra Fox was published in 2025. The series looks into the power struggle of superpowers and global threats from an ordinary person’s viewpoint. 

About me

Before becoming a writer, I worked as a journalist and media professional. I had a nearly decade-long career in the Finnish Defence Forces, working as a communications specialist in several assignments, the latest of which was media analyst. I’m also a reservist: I did the women’s voluntary military service in the Kainuu Brigade as a reconnaissance radio operator. 

I’ve always had big dreams and set out fearlessly to live them. I’m an adventurer and storyteller at heart. As a young journalist, I wanted to tour the world. When I settled down in Finland, my passion for writing grew into a full blaze. First, I wrote high fantasy, then fairytales, adventure, and fantasy for children and young adults. To my great surprise, my first published book was a war thriller. I’ve also written the manuscript for the television series Konflikti (Conflict) that won two Golden Venla awards in January 2025. 

Besides writing, I like to cook and garden. I enjoy being out in nature and dream about owning an Icelandic horse. I’m the mother of two adorable children. 

I also write children’s and YA literature

Children’s books and fantasy are my passion – I feel privileged to have the opportunity to write for children and teens. The importance of children’s and YA literature has perhaps never been greater than now, as literacy is waning and becoming polarized. I believe that with the right book every child can be excited about reading. Reading isn’t boring, but the wrong book may be. Without children who read there will be no adults who read. Every child and teen has the right to good stories. 

I’ve written four series so far: Invisible Milanna, The Magical Worlds Mysteries, The Animagi of Purple Mist, and my newest book series The Skyland Saga.
