Antto, who left his studies and became caught up in a trap of quick loans, receives a job offer from Pinewood Security, an international security company. In his new job, he unintentionally sees orders meant for a colleague. The document contains information about a Chinese artificial intelligence researcher. When the researcher is found dead a couple of days later, it dawns on Antto that the company has something to hide. 

Antto contacts his friend Sandra, who used to work for Britain’s Intelligence Service MI6. Investigating the company’s actions lands the duo in the middle of a dangerous power struggle about the future of nations.
