Lieutenant Riina Koivu.

Riina’s brother Jon Koivu serves in the Finnish crisis management troops in Afghanistan. In the last months prior to the retreat of the Western troops, Jon’s unit suddenly becomes the substitute target for a missile attack by the United States. Jon and his combat partner are separated from the unit and get mixed up in a secret CIA mission in Afghanistan. 

Riina’s husband Mikael Koivu works at the Intelligence Service. He is assigned to investigate the assassination of the Finnish officer and soon discovers the gravity of the associated factors. 

Meanwhile, Riina looks into the clues left by the murdered officer. Russia’s military intelligence agents are also searching for the clues, and a dangerous race to solve the mystery begins.
